viruses that can be easily contracted in communal areas such as pools and gyms.
Foot problems can also be caused by inherited conditions such as arthritis.

in the hips, knees and the arches of the feet – is also available.

How the treatment is done
Chiropodist/Podiatrist treats foot problems using surgical, chemical, physical and mechanical
therapies. When a patient visits a Chiropodist/Podiatrist they take a full medical history and
carry out vascular, neurological, radiological and anatomical examinations of the feet to reach
a diagnosis. This takes into account the general health and any current medication the patients
may be taking.
After this initial assessment a more advanced and specialized course of action is taken in the
examination and treatment of the foot.
